prices crashing now on rares, i sold my santas 26.6m each for like 4 of them. Then they went right up after christmas, so much bullshit in this game to be honest. Probably merching clans fiddling the prices which isn’t even fair by jagex rules.

I got my Santa for free from party room when I was lvl 3 o was goin to sell it but I didn’t. Then I forgot about rs for 7 or 8 years then I found a hat it said Santa. I sold it made 45m or somtin. And still lvl 3.

lol i have no idea the drop price for santas now,ffs i bought 20 of them for 49m each,sold them all for 60m each,used the money to buy green h masks for 63m each,imo sanats will have a drop soon,although you wont lose to much money. On the other hand,masks arnt being merchanted,they wont have a big drop.

@std2killer it was only like that for a very short time, even most of RSC you still drank full wines. They are very close to the rarest discontinued, possibly even moreso than crackers. They’re just not wearable or anything, plus they used to be consumable so they’re less desired than phats and therefore less common/talked about

I bet you aint a mercher, they all raised because of rare market. All rares are sold out in the g/e. And those that get sold get bought by big merchers so the inflation of the price will continue.
Why did all the rares raise? I have 10m and I got really excited for my first Santa Hat which was 13m. And I was only 3m away. But now it’s 40m+ which I think it’s absolutely ridiculous. I’ve worked up this way for it, now I’ve got to work 3x more? I want an explanation for this sudden and dramatic rise…

After the xmas event of 2010, all rares raised. Instead of crashing they kept there value because of the people buying large numbers of them that they couldn’t sell all at a time. The Merchanting ways have changed so this vid is now no longer uptodate.
